my mom’s memories of my childhood
there was a gift store in our town growing up called distinctive gifts. apparently either my brother or myself misheard the name and thought our mother called it - “the stinkin gifts”. from then on we called it the stinkin gifts. i wonder whatever happened to that stinkin place.
